In January 2017, Systematic opened a development center in Bucharest that produces communication software for NATO, IT solutions for professionals in the healthcare and service sectors and innovative library and learning software platforms.

The project
You will be a part of the Headquarters team. The project is responsible for the continued development, improvement and maintenance of the SitaWare Headquarters product suite. This product suite is installed and running on many installations around the world. We have the responsibility to improve and maintain it to continue being the best product on the market.

The project management methodology is a balanced mix between CMMI, Lean and Scrum. CMMI supplies tools and framework for overall project management and standard procedures to ease many tasks in the project. Lean supplies a constant focus on eliminating waste and increasing efficiency. Scrum supplies short cycles for fast learning and close communication.

The Headquarters team is split up in five development teams with a Scrum Master each. Some of the teams are co-located teams in Romania, others do have team members both in Denmark, Ukraine and Romania.

The HQ test teams consist of two testers in Denmark, three testers in Ukraine and four in Romania. In addition, the project has a Test Manager situated in Denmark as well. You would be joining the team as a tester in Bucharest together with the other testers in Romania, which you will be in close collaboration with.

You will be part of the team from the first day and probably spend some weeks at the Danish office to get acquainted with both the colleagues in HQ, the different tasks, the Company and the Danes. The initial task will be a small and clear task that is not too dependent on other parts of the solution and you will work closely with the more experienced testers.

The project works with two main releases per year but we are in the initial phase of implementing continuous delivery with being able to release more often like once pr. Month. The product is an ongoing product with no end day but there will be many chances to work on smaller project lookalike tasks.

Job Summary
As part of the Headquarters test team you will be an important part of the entire feature development lifecycle from making test considerations, risk analysis, test design, and test specifications to executing test on various levels. As we are working on implementing more automation testing you will also be working with automation testing as part of the feature work. You will work closely with the rest of the team.

We work with Scrum and are using JIRA for our test tasks and defects.

Test is highly acknowledged in Systematic and the testers are an integrated part of the development teams.
The testers are part of the feature work from day one and have the responsibility to make sure we conduct
our testing in the correct and relevant way.

As part of the Defence test team, you will make sure that all integration tests are maintained, developed and executed and that the test process used in the product teams is as efficient and useable as possible.
As a member of the Defence test team you will gain up to 20 colleagues from the SitaWare Suite to spare with in regards to test techniques and other test related issues.


General qualifications
Good English language and communication skills.

Technical Qualifications
Must haves:
Testing experience
You have a theoretical background in computer science, computer engineering or similar
Experience with automation testing

Advantage, not a must have:
Experienced in using test design techniques
Knowledge of automatic test
ISTQB Foundation certification or TMap Test Engineer certification
Knowledge about Windows administration, installation of software, PowerShell, HyperV and ESXI
Experienced in implementing automation testing
